2013 is the Year to Tap Into Your SoulFire

Written on December 30, 2012 at 10:38 am

I’m curious...

Do you wake up each day with fire in your belly?

Is your Monday morning full of energy and excitement about the week ahead?

Are you looking at 2013 with a sense of anticipation and passion?

I sure hope so. I want that for you SO much.

When I look in the rearview mirror I can see the many phases of my life including roles I’ve held, careers experimented with, and people I have worked alongside. It is easy to spot the times where I had SoulFire lighting me up and times when my spark had been …

Tribute to Howard Brinton by Art & Anna Kleimer

Written on December 27, 2012 at 1:04 pm

Written by Art and Anna Kleimer as a tribute to friend and colleague Howard Brinton

Ode to My Friend Howard

Did a giant pass today?                                Only if we let him pass.

Did a smile fade away?

Only if we let it fade.

Did a twinkle disappear?

Only if we let it disappear.

Will we never again laugh to the Pig Story?

Only if we forget to tell it.

Will we never split our sides laughing and swapping stories?

Only if we lose our words.

Will …

People with SoulFire Never Retire

Written on December 14, 2012 at 12:20 pm

When I say I will never retire people just look at me and laugh.

Why would you want to work forever, they ask? Well, I guess because I don't see work as a chore or something I dread. I see work as my "life's work" and not work for the sake of making a paycheck.

I call it SoulFire.

It is doing something that I love, with people I love, for people I love.

Of course not every day is glorious and easy. And I certainly am not wearing rose colored glasses. The fact is, it's about perpective. Each …

Get a bunch of coaches in a room and you will get quite the lively debate about what it means to rely on our inner wisdom (which we all agree that we have) or to use our experience and learning to make decisions. Coaches Art and Anna Kleimer sum it up well in today' blog post.

Reflecting and Projecting

Written on December 2, 2012 at 11:44 am

Today is one of those days that I find myself attempting to live in the moment, but instead making my way into the past as well as the future.

Going with the flow.

That has been my mantra for a while now.

Definition: Paying attention to the synchronicity in my life and doing what comes easy in the moment. Going with the flow.

At this particular moment the flow is taking me toward reflecting and projecting.

Not to be confused with planning and goal setting.

This is more like “visioneering” as Danielle LaPorte calls it. I intellectually know that …
