Loving Your Listings

Written on February 14, 2013 at 10:16 am

I was asked to give a talk this week for one of the top real estate brokerages in Pensacola, Florida. Chris and I have known Audie Street, the manager at Mainstreet Properties for several years. He is one of those people you just can’t help but like. Audie is upbeat, energetic, positive, and thrives on helping his agents succeed. When he asked me to speak to his group on Valentines Day and said they wanted to title the talk, Loving Your Listings, of course I said, “Perfect.”

As I worked on the outline for my talk, I realized that …

My Facebook Dilemma – 5 Things I Have Learned

Written on January 16, 2013 at 2:41 pm

Written on June 3, 2011 at 11:56 am

Senior adult downsizing

With one in every eight people in the United States currently 65 years old or older, it is no surprise that REALTORS are finding themselves working with more and more senior clients.

Not everyone gets excited about senior clients like I do.

What is interesting is that I decided to work with the senior demographic first and then realized later all the advantages that came with such a niche.

1. I rarely work weekends nor do I find myself on listing appointments after 4pm.

2. Almost all my clients own their home free and clear... no short sales and rarely …

Success, Guilt, and High Achievers

Written on May 31, 2011 at 3:40 pm

I was just thinking today about some common themes that are coming up with some of my high achieving coaching clients.

My guess is that it is striking a cord with me because I have a tendency to struggle with these issues myself.

It's pretty short (compared to …
